Join us for a morning ride along the Galveston Triathlon route. This will be a beginner friendly ride but you are welcome to do as many miles as you would like.
Flat and easy on the Kemah Boardwalk and the “Tough” part - 4 passes (2 complete loops) over the Kemah/Seabrook Bridge. Then, it's downhill (not really) to the finish!
Enjoy a short 200m swim in the Palm Beach lazy river at Moody Gardens, a flat 8 mile bike ride in Galveston and a short 2 mile run around the lush and tropical Moody Gardens! Stick around for post-race fun, food and refreshments.
Half Distance: 1.2 mile Swim, 56 mile Bike, 13.1 mile Run.
Half Distance Aquabike: 1.2 mile Swim, 56 mile Bike.
Quarter Distance: 1000m Swim, 29 mile Bike, 6.4 mile Run.
Quarter Distance Aquabike: 1000m swim, 29 mile Bike
Debra Zapata Sprint Distance: 500m Swim, 14.5 mile Bike, 5 Km Run.
This 2 mile run, 10 mile bike, 2 mile run is a premier event among Duathlons in the greater Houston area. This duathlon is co-produced by Outloud! Productions and Bicycle World & Fitness. The start time for the race is set for 8:00 am.
