Welcome all to the new & improved BAM discussion boards. For those new to this type of forum, it is an excellent source of information for all things triathlon related.
I need your help. I have been on the sidelines rehabbing & have been out of touch (shame on me). Anyway, I am bad at remembering names, so when you read this, if you would, post a brief bio so I can associate that info with your name.
For example, Todd might post "I colored my hair yellow to motivate my marathon training group".
Thanks for helping me learn more about each of you.

hey I got in! that was kind of hard, Yes I had yellow hair. That was very fun.I may bring that back this year.
I am curious if this is DB going to become the communication system of record for the club.
It seems a bit clumsy to me. Facebook is much easier to use and has way more function. There are also other forms that seem to be leading the way such as instagram and twitter. I think we should stay on the edge.
What is best for the club? I'll die my hair if I need to? just sayin...I don't even need a good reason.

Hi Everyone! My name is Heidi Brewer, and I have been a member of the club since 2008. I became a triathlete because I had just finished my first marathon and I was looking for something different to conquer next. Todd O'Neal was my marathon coach, and he suggested that I give triathlon a shot. My first race was Lonestar in Galveston, and from that day on I was hooked. I've raced all distances from sprint through Ironman and love to train, race, and talk about the sport. I really enjoy being a member of BAM! because the group is a great mix of athletes (beginner through experienced), and we all have fun, interesting, and useful things to share with one another. Plus, the group workouts are always a blast. I look forward to training and racing with you all!
